At first, like many others, I have a "Mofa" called "Starflite". Later I got a Hercules MP2. Next Bike after driving-school was a Hercules K50 Sprint and one year later the Hercules Ultra80F, one of the first bikes of this type.
1981 with age of 17 1/2 I got the drivers licence for cars.. The first car (4 weeks til junkyard) a goldcoloured 69 Opel Rekord C 4TL with a 115 cui 4-cyl. engine. Next was a 70 Opel Rekord C 4TL in beige color with a 104 cui 4-cyl. engine. All good times are three, and annoyed about the water inside the C-Rekord, I bought in1982 a lightgreen 74 D-Rekord 4TL Berlina with the 2-Liter 100hp-engine.
A long time I was really attracted to Toyota Celica:

Between this times I drove some other Celica's for a short time. (Insider-info: TA22, 23, 28 and 40 as well as RA 28 and 40)
Now I have enough sedans and coupes driven - I buy a 78 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 with short wheelbase and a 256 cui 6-cyl..

I thought the japanese cars were to small and I was looking forward for an american Car. Who ever drives such a car, he want no others.
A 70's Buick Skylark Custom Coupe was my first US-Car. 350 engin with 180 hp. This car was a bad experience... I have paid to much for this bad conndition car and after a few miles the cooler was blown away and the transmission was going down.
If the Buick runs he get power with no end.... I drove the car from 1988 to 1995.
At february, 11th,.2006 I get a e-mail from the new Buickowner. Wilco wants to restore the Car. He found this sites by internet-surfing and see "his" Car here
My second US-Cari. Bought it from first hand, a US-soldier in Katterbach. He got the car from his aunt in Florida. A 67 Chrysler Newport Convertible with a 383 V8 engine (270 hp).
A really rare Car (only 2891 build) with much fun for driving. I'ts the only one known of this type in Germany. Around the World the Chrysler-Club USA knows only 86 67 Newport Convertibles). I own this beauty from 1994 til 2001.
After my divorce I had to sell the Car and now starts the big *Downsizeing*...
First half of 2001 I drove a darkblue 86 Renault 25 4-Cylinder. In july the 2,2l-engine explodes at 110 mph speed on the highway...
Because I did not became more intelligent I bought a 87 Renault 25 V6i. This engine also runs only a half year. the cylinderhead-gasket blown away...
Back to the roots. A half year 83 Honda Prelude Type AB. A nice Coupe, with much power under the hood. It makes really fun to drive this car like a go-cart with direct steering and a deep emphasis. Worn out brakes stoped this fun. Repair was to expensive.
Now I bought a US-Car again. No, not a Detroit-Classic with chrome and fins. Only a 88 Chevy Beretta with a 173 cui V6 engine and 127hp. Now I see how I missed automatic and other features...
...and now he's gone. The Beretta engine went down in July. one rod was broken...

14.01.2005 - theTorino is history... I had to save some money and so I sold him. New car was a 88 Nissan Sunny Coupe what I got cheap by eBay.
28.05.2005 - Crankshaft bearings broke on two cylinders. Repair more expensive as an other car...
13.06.2005 - After the early death from the Nissan I needed a new car. Run and cheap, thats all I want.. In eBay I found this 88 BMW 320i /6.
Even while I was unsure of the 3 Series, a short time in February 2006, I owned a BMW 735i. The car was technically so decrepit that I've tried it immediately sold on.
11.04.2006 - At mobile.de is an offer: 93 Sigma Station F07W. I buy the Sigma and let the BMW there.
22.11.2006 Today I sold the Sigma. I have not enough money for such a luxory car. Now I'm a pedetrian. I will look forward for a new car...
2007 til now - A 96 Toyota Corolla XLi, Type E10 - the car is not mine, he belongs to my girlfriend, but she lets me from time to time, sometimes with a drive that I did not quite forget.
19.06.2010 - A dream... My best friend met me at my birthday at the SNC and gives me a 91 Chrysler convertible as a gift.
I can't believe it til now.. Thank you, my friend!!
